Shelly Griffith, also known as Wendy, spent her career working in the field of pediatric occupational therapy and as volunteer coordinator for a large respite ministry in Dallas. She enjoyed her time working with children and their families as they navigated through life’s adventures.
Shelly recently retired her professional license to focus on homeschooling her son, Cameron, who is the inspiration for Cam’s Place.
Shelly strongly believes that every person has a God-given gift or talent to share. She is passionate about helping young people with neurological and physical differences find their place in the world. She feels certain that the mission of Cam’s Place can help individuals find value and purpose through inclusive employment.
Shelly is married to David and they reside with Cameron in Hideaway, TX.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, baking and finding great deals on cool products.
Shelly currently serves as President of Cam’s Place.
EmmaLee Hilton, BCBA
With a background in Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Tyler, EmmaLee Hilton began her career with an interest in the sciences while she gained hands-on experience serving the disabled community throughout her undergraduate studies. These opportunities and experiences inspired her to change career paths and pursue a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of North Texas, ultimately becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Today, EmmaLee serves the neurodivergent community, including individuals with co-occurring diagnoses, through compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based support. Her therapy as a practitioner is grounded in trauma-informed and assent-based ABA, emphasizing respect, increasing autonomy, dignity, and a meaningful quality of life. EmmaLee is passionate about creating supportive environments where individuals can build meaningful skills, increase their independence, and thrive while ensuring their voices, preferences, and choices remain at the center of care!
EmmaLee lives in Frisco, Texas with her husband, Alec. She enjoys hanging out with Alec and their two dogs, anything crafty, and spending time outdoors.

Candice Munoz, M. Ed
Candice Munoz is honored to serve on the Board of Directors at Cam’s Place, where she has the opportunity to support a mission that is very important to her—helping teens and adults with special needs build confidence, independence, and a sense of purpose.
She believes every individual deserves the opportunity to discover their strengths, develop meaningful work and life skills, and feel valued within their community. What Candice loves about Cam’s Place is its focus on providing hands-on, real-world experiences that help individuals grow, connect with others, and prepare for greater independence in adulthood.
Her background includes experience as a special education teacher, coordinator, and counselor, but what Candice is most excited to bring to Cam’s Place is her passion for creating opportunities where individuals with special needs can thrive. She is proud to be part of an organization that sees potential, builds confidence, and helps create a future filled with greater opportunity and independence.
Candice is married to Jake, and they reside in Mineola with their two children. In her free time, she enjoys playing games with her family, nature walks and traveling. Candice currently serves as the Secretary for Cam’s Place.
William David Griffith, BSEET
William David Griffith has spent his career in the high-tech storage industry. He is currently employed as a Senior Technology Corporate Advisory Engineer for a large tech company. His background in sales and collaborative communication within the workforce brings valuable insight to our team.
William David has a long history of volunteering with organizations that meet the needs of people living with disabilities. Through these experiences and raising his son, Cameron, he has developed a strong desire to change how the world interacts with individuals who are differently abled. He is certain Cam’s Place can be a step towards that beneficial change in his own community.
When time allows, he enjoys camping in his Casita, golfing and going to estate sales.
William David currently serves as Treasurer for Cam’s Place.
Cameron is the first crew member of Cam’s Place. His desire to have a job like peers his age led to the idea of Cam’s Place. Cameron enjoys interacting with customers and getting to know people.
He is excited to see the vision of Cam’s Place grow so that “other people like me can have a place to work”.
Cameron has a great sense of humor, excellent memory for details and is an example of joy in the world. Cameron is in high school where his favorite subject is History—Math, not so much.
In his spare time, Cameron enjoys watching videos online about traveling families and reading hotel reviews—especially the bad ones because they are hilarious.
